Format:
This half-day activity commences with an introduction and
briefing to the group who have been divided into teams of
6 to 8 people. The first two sections of the event give teams
the opportunity to accumulate points from a short themed treasure
hunt around the grounds or suitable nearby location followed
by a general knowledge quiz. The final section is a profit
and loss game involving antiques. Action provides a selection
of antiques or properties for teams to assess and value. The
group then takes part in an auction to ‘purchase’
the items to make a profit or a loss based upon the true market
value of the specific items.
The event concludes with the announcement of the scores and
a prize giving.
Action’s event manager will work with the group leader
before the event to ensure that the product is tailored exactly
to requirement. All equipment is provided including stationery,
antiques (for the day!) property details and prizes.
Summary:
This event is both great fun and highly productive with many
different skills and a range of knowledge required, keeping
everybody fully engaged. It is ideal for all aspects of team-building
and personal development and can be tailored to suit any specific
requirement e.g. graduate intern programme, management development,
strategy meeting, away day, celebration or client entertainment.
